The Regent Union Society is an independent, student-led intellectual forum dedicated to rigorous debate and discourse in Nepal’s high school community. Inspired by the Oxford Union, Cambridge Union, and the John Locke Institute, TREUS hosts debates, essay competitions, and conversations with prominent writers, researchers, and mentors—creating space for young thinkers to defend ideas, develop their voice, and engage with those shaping discourse in their fields.
We believe that free, critical thinking is essential for any thriving society. Whether you seek to master formal debate, develop as a writer, or engage with peers who take ideas seriously, TREUS provides the mentorship and community to do so.
